Redesign of the pebble crusher feed

The cone crusher suffered from an uneven feed. Coarse fractions collected on one side and the main mass stream arrived off-center, which was linked to frequent shaft failures.

We redesigned the feed iteratively until the mass and size distribution into the crushing chamber was even, working inside the height and access constraints of the existing installation. Model calibration and validation were part of the work.

The study identified a geometry that gave a more even mass and size distribution in the model, without requiring changes to the surrounding installation.
