Pebble extraction - primary mill
Concentrator, primary grinding
The existing pebble extraction caused recurring maintenance work, and an unwanted size fraction left the mill together with the pebbles.
We built and evaluated a model of the current arrangement to explain both, covering particle and slurry behavior together. A new extraction design is now being evaluated with respect to wear exposure, dewatering and the efficiency of the pebble discharger.
The work is ongoing.
