Gold enrichment

The client wanted to know whether gold could be enriched and recovered at a specific point in the plant, how much gold reaches that point, and how it could be taken out.

We looked at how the particles move and settle in the slurry flow, including settling velocities, and what that means for where gold is likely to collect and where it is best recovered.

The velocities in the pipe in question were too high for gold to be recovered there effectively, and we judged that there are better places in the circuit to recover it.
